Captcha edit

headshits was the captcha text I was presented with when I created my beta wiki user account just now. All instances of words such as shits should be removed from the captcha gizmo, shouldn't they? Headshits??? What else is in there? 8-} --Rogerhc 22:50, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry to hear this :-( If you want, you can file a report so others do not have same feelings, see existing bug reports regarding captcha here. More info about the Captcha at Special:Captcha. ----Erkan Yilmaz 13:46, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Case insensitive page names edit

Wikiversity needs case insensitive page names and page section names. This could be implemented as an extension to MediaWiki or as a standard feature of MediaWiki. More ideas at Wikiversity:Simple navigation --Rogerhc 01:16, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sheep edit

Wikiversity seems to have more sheep than men running around. -- Thekohser 20:09, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings to your side of the earth!
Why do you think so? And which one of these Sheep comes closest? ----Erkan Yilmaz 20:11, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'd have to say these ones. See the man with the blue vest? That's Jimbo. -- Thekohser 14:43, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
:-)
for future readers: correct me if I am wrong, this is most likely also about this: en:Wikiversity:Community Review/Wikimedia Ethics:Ethical Breaching Experiments, ----Erkan Yilmaz 15:44, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think I already admitted to being a sheep. Baahhh. Ottava Rima 16:06, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New content edit

I have added new content to the Beta Wikiversity. Could someone inform me of about how long it will be before I am banned for this act of generosity? -- Thekohser 19:17, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What content should be allowed? edit

I think the wikiversity should be a place where you can share information, questions, etc. I think a lot should be allowed. We should not make to many rules regarding the content. The following TED-movie explains better what I mean: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJCZkYwuCBM. Would like to hear your comments and how can we make this a guideline?
