editguys, it is a multilingual site here. try not to be too fancy. Beta's motto on multilingualism is: the shorter, the better. <Hillgentleman| ~ | 書> 18:32, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
- I think Ottava is trying to get the template to work in such a way that he can welcome people on their user page. I suggested on IRC that it would be a good idea to understand how people currently use this template before making changes that might break how people expect it to work. So the question is: How do people expect this template to work? --darklama 18:40, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

editWhy are the user talk pages that {{Welcome}} is being used on showing up in Category:Wikiversity, Category:Wikiversity incubator, and Category:Pages by language? Surely this is a mistake...? - dcljr 10:39, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
- Nevermind. I found the problem. - dcljr 11:00, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

editIs translation units 1, 2 and 4 really needed? Also the markups in unit 7 is rather redundant. Minorax (talk) 16:16, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
