- I'm not sure yet, Hillgentleman, but I think it should be consensus-driven and not too Anglo-centric. I have started an English version at Wikiversity:Translator's Handbook. Since I speak and write only English, it's about as far as I can go, but m:Multilingualism has taught me a lot so far. See also the discussion here. Thanks for your interest! - Wikiversity Beta is a combination of a meta(=inter-lingual-coordination) site and an incubator site. There is neither School: nor Topic: namespace here. To structure the contents as departments and learning projects is rather confusing. --Hillgentleman-User talk 03:35, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
- Indeed a problem. I'm going to try converting the key links to local articles in the main namespace or the Wikiversity namespace or link them back to their originals at en.wikiversity. I'm also looking at de.wikiversity. es.wikiversity, etc. articles that correspond as directly as possible to key articles. This is going to be a long row to hoe. Thanks for the input and feedback! Your account will be renamed edit
Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called CQ. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name CQ~betawikiversity that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
