It seems that there is some bug in the mediawiki code of the server. If nothing else works, try http://beta.wikiversity.org/w/index.php?title=YOUR_PAGE_TITLE&action=edit

Alternatively, you can use a red link YOUR PAGE TITLE or an meta:help:input box
