adminship / bureaucratship
editHello! I need adminship on beta.wikiversity for deleting stuff imported to newly-opened projects. Bureaucratship will be also preferable so I can do SUL renames, but I don't persist. I'm Meta bureaucrat and Incubator admin. Thanks in advance — VasilievVV 17:32, 26 May 2008 (UTC) (source)

Sitenotice update
editHI, I just saw you active. If you are still there, could you have a look here: Sitenotice update with Proposal for closure of Wikiversity Beta. Thx, ----Erkan Yilmaz (Wikiversity:Chat, wiki blog) 11:09, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Template:Main page
editHello, you have probably misunderstood the functionallity of this template. It have to navigate people between different Beta Wikiversity main pages, not between different Wikiversities. Note that: Wikiversity Beta is a multilingual hub for the coordination of Wikiversity projects in different languages, to further our mission as in the Wikiversity project proposal. This website hosts discussions about Wikiversity policy for original research. (source:Main Page#What is Wikiversity beta?)

- I don't. I just changed it so users don't try to edit pages on beta when they have an opened project - VasilievVV 12:05, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Well, and this happened? you probably mean not to edit pages like Wikiversity Main pages. But if there is a language mutation which already has its own project, they can also have their main page in here. To be able to coordinate the ongoing disscusion in their own language. But if it seems you messy, what would you sudgest to do?--Juan 12:19, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
I have just refreshed the English main page here on Beta, so I think it is totally clear and after two clicks the new user will find out the system. See: [1] --Juan 12:51, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Well it could happen, so it could be understood as precaution. But there can be made a section to tell there is a separate project now, e.g. like in Accueil. But I also would prefer that the links stays here inside beta, because another advantage is (besides coordination of different WVs): most pages are translations: this can help people who want to learn foreign languages to see how the page looks like in another language and increase their learning experience. And besides I don't see it so negative when they edit here. Because any page can be improved and from an error in one page we can improve the other language pages here inside beta. ----Erkan Yilmaz (Wikiversity:Chat, wiki blog) 12:40, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
- Juan is right. Beta is a multilingual project and so we have the main page in a variety of languages, as we have on meta. Hillgentleman|書 12:54, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
