Promotion cleanup needed

For more than a decade one particularly stubborn man by the name of Ihor Ohirko (Ігор Огірко) has been trying to promote himself and his works through various Wikimedia projects. Every single project affected removed his "contributions", which prompted him to use numerous sockpuppets and meatpuppets. This ultimately earned him a global lock. See this page.

Unfortunately, it seems like BetaWV (and the Ukrainian test wiki in particular) has also been hit.

These can be identified as Ohirko's wife (the first account), co-authors and students. One can easily deduce their connection to Ohirko from their edits. (Update: all these accounts have been globally locked. AtUkr (talk) 20:49, 11 July 2024 (UTC))

In fact, everything this network has produced could very well be proposed for deletion in its own right. Most of their content consists of encyclopedic articles (mostly autobiographic ones), marginal research, or works by students. I can provide a more thorough analysis if needed, but I think even Google Translate can provide a good understanding of what their content is about, long-term cross-wiki abuse notwithstanding.

In short, I'm asking for all those accounts to be locked (User:Юзевич Володимир Миколайович was last active not even a month ago) and their "contributions" deleted.

Pinging @Crochet.david: seemingly the only active local sysop.

Deleting files related to banned user

Hi! I suggest to delete these files: Special:ListFiles/Van_den_Beemt

Some of the files have a license and others like File:SoftwareTestenAlgemeneKennis.pdf does not have a license. Even if they do have a license they are only used on pages like User:Abd/Software Testen/Algemene kennis/Case and User:Abd is globally banned so the pages will never be edited again. I do not know if the two users are related but it looks like this user only worked on the pages Abd created.

Perhaps the pages in the userspace of Abd should also be deleted. MGA73 (talk) 17:05, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
